Holt County Spelling Bee tomorrow at South Holt in Oregon at 1pm. Students competing are asked to wear a blue Hornets shirt and nice pants or jeans. Please avoid pajamas or sweatpants.

After Prom Parent Meeting tonight, January 6th at 6:00 pm in the school cafeteria.

Reminder - There is no school on Monday, January 5th for teacher professional development. This includes Vo-Tech students. All students will return on Tuesday, January 6th.

Junior High Wrestling practice starts after school on January 6th. Schedule is posted on the website under Documents -> High School -> JH/HS Wrestling.

Friday, December 19th is the last day before break. Early out for all students at 12:15. Everyone have a Merry Christmas and enjoy your break! We'll see the students back on Tuesday, January 6th!

Don't forget the Santa Shop is tomorrow morning! This gives students an opportunity to buy inexpensive gifts for their loved ones..

Here is info for the Wrestling Tournament at East Buchanan on Tuesday, 12/9/25.

There will be a short assembly this afternoon, 12/5 at 2:35 in the gym. Hornet Wings winners will be announced and there will be a preview of our new wrestling team! The community is invited to join us!

"Light Up Craig!" - Team Craig is having a tree lighting ceremony this evening, 12/5 at 6:00 pm on Main Street. There will be Christmas Carols, hot cocoa and cookies! They have invited everyone to come join in on the fun!

There is an After Prom meeting tonight, 12/2, at 6:00 pm for all high school parents.

Student Air Rifle Practice tonight (11/24) from 6 pm to 7 pm.

First Student Air Rifle practice of the year is coming up this Monday, November 24th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the gym.
