Team Craig Notes from April 30, 2026 Meeting
Treasurer's Report: $4178.43
The major topic of discussion revolved around the Team Craig Farmers Market. The first Farmers Market event will be Friday May 15th from 4-8pm at the Craig City Park across from the railroad tracks. The market will be every Friday night starting May 15th and last until the Friday before Labor Day.
Currently the market has over 20 vendors committed to the event, and we are still open to additional vendors throughout the summer. There will be no charge for the booth space as we grow this into an annual event.
If you have any questions, please contact Joe or Vicky White. Or, contact the school to reach Dr. Copeland.
Farmers Market Highlights: over 20 committed to event; we will add some flags around Memorial Day and the 4th of July; we need to continue to advertise both for vendors and customers; the school will help publicize on the district website and social media platforms;
Next TEAM CRAIG meeting: July 6th at the school at 6pm.

PBIS Assembly for today has been postponed. New time and date will be determined next week.
Spring Book Fair starts Monday! It will be open before and after school every day next week as well as during the carnival on Friday evening.
The Craig R-III school district wants to thank all the people who voted on Tuesday. Your efforts helped the school district for many years to come. Almost 81% of voters in our district said NO to the ballot question on Tuesday. County-wide almost 70% of HOLT County said NO. A NO vote helps keep more monies dedicated toward schools, fire districts, ambulance, and city/county governmental agencies. All of these programs could have be hurt financially with a YES vote. Thank you, Voters.
Additionally, four school board members were voted in. David Trauernicht ran unopposed for the 1-year unexpired term, and he will join the board on 4/20. Newcomer Justin Rother was elected to the board along with incumbents Michael Peters and Jarod Whetsel. Congratulations on your victory; the district looks forward to your service on behalf of the students of Craig R-III. Thank You. Go Hornets!!!
