Craig R-III Request for Proposal 2026-1: Air Conditioning Units for High School Gym
Craig R-III school district would like bids for Air Conditioning work to be performed for the high school gym. Please send proposals to the Dr. Matt Copeland at mcopeland@craigr3school.org.
This would include the following:
1. Install 4 new 5-ton split air conditioning units to serve the gym.
2. Evaporator coils fit to existing gas furnaces.
3. Condensers to be set on the roof.
4. Pitch pan on roof for electrical penetration.
5. Core drill and sleeve through brick for line set penetration.
6. Install raceway and wire for 4 air handlers on the roof.
7. 4-60A power feeds to condensers from the panel in the locker room.
8. Disconnects provided and installed.
9. Start up and verify proper system operation.
The following would be excluded:
1. Performance/payment bonds.
2. Taxes.
3. Overtime .
4. Any items not mentioned above. Pre-bid meetings will be held by appointment at the district with the district’s superintendent prior to proposal opening at Craig R-III 402 N Ward St, Craig, MO, 64437. Contract and general requirements for the project will be discussed in addition to an overview of the project scope followed by building and site tours of the school. It is recommended that prospective primary bidders attend a pre-bid meeting.
