Notice to Contractors - Building Renovations and Site Improvements The following construction project is being advertised for bids by Craig R-III, 402 N Ward St, Craig, MO 64437. Pursuant to state law RSMo 177.086, projects that exceed an anticipated expenditure of fifteen thousand dollars shall be publicly advertised, for two consecutive weeks beginning March 6, 2026 on Facebook, the district’s website, local newspaper, and through trade sites. Project Title: Craig R-III Building Renovation and Site Improvements Brief Scope: Air Conditioning units added to high school gym Project Number: 2026-1 Building Name and Address: Craig R-III 402 N Ward St, Craig, MO, 64437 Bid Number: 2026-1 Bid Documents: By email request. mcopeland@craigr3school.org Proposals will be opened on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 3:00pm at District Superintendent’s Office, Craig R-III 402 N Ward St, Craig, MO, 64437. Pre-bid meetings will be held by appointment at the district with the district’s superintendent prior to proposal opening at Craig R-III 402 N Ward St, Craig, MO, 64437. Contract and general requirements for the project will be discussed in addition to an overview of the project scope followed by building and site tours of the school. It is recommended that prospective primary bidders attend a pre-bid meeting. Respondents shall comply with the requirements of the specifications and RSMO Section 292.675 which provides that "Any contractor for any public body for purposes of construction of public works and any subcontractor to such contractor shall provide a ten-hour Occupational
Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction safety program for their on-site employees which includes a course in construction safety and health approved by OSHA or a similar program approved by the department which is at least as stringent as an approved OSHA program, unless such employees have previously completed the required program." Proposals may not be withdrawn for at least 45 days after the closing date for receipt of bids. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids. —
